Privacy Policy
As a company that develops, manufactures and sells medical devices, we believe that, with regard to the personal information we handle during the course of our corporate activities, we have an extremely important social responsibility to uphold the law and establish systems for the appropriate collection, use and supervision of personal data in a manner appropriate to the content and scale of our business. Therefore, we have established this Privacy Policy, and will steadfastly ensure that all personnel are thoroughly aware of its content.
1. Purpose of the Privacy Policy
The policy aims to provide assurance to individuals that their personal information is being properly protected.
2. Handling personal information
We have monitoring structures to ensure that personal information protection is carried out in a manner appropriate to the content and scale of our business. In addition, we will collect, use and supply personal information in an appropriate and cautious manner consistent with our internal regulations.
(1) Collecting personal information
When collecting personal information, we will explain to the individual or the entity concerned why the information is being collected and use only legal and fair collection methods that do not go beyond what is required to fulfill our stated purpose.
(2) Using personal information
We will only use personal information for the purpose that the individual or entity concerned agreed to when the data was collected.
(3) Supplying personal information
As a general rule, we will only supply personal information to a third party for the purpose that the individual concerned agreed to when the data was collected. Except in the special cases listed below, we will not supply the personal information we have obtained to a third party outside our company group.
1. When we receive a legal demand to provide the information
2. When required to protect the life, health and assets of the individual concerned or the public from severe damage.
3. When we are required to co-operate with state organizations or local authorities in order to perform a task designated under law.
3. Implementing safety policy
In order to ensure the accuracy and safety of personal information, we implement various safety policies including information security policies which aim to prevent unauthorized access to personal information and the loss, destruction, unauthorized modification and unauthorized disclosure of such information. We take swift corrective action when deemed necessary following the results of internal audits, security incidents or requests from customers and staff.
4. Compliance with the laws and codes of conduct
Through continuous educational and development activities, we insure adherence with laws on personal information, guidelines issued by the organizations to which we belong, and the Egyptian Standards, "Requirements for Management Systems for the Protection of Personal Information". We are committed to the appropriate implementation of our Personal Information Detection Compliance Program, which meets all of the above requirements.
5. Continuous revision
We will continually strive to optimize and improve our personal information management system through reviews of the program by the internal audit department and company representatives.
